The hotel "Antica Dogana" is located in an enchanting position in front of the venetian lagoon. From here the most evocative sunsets can be admired on the venetian islands. This is an historical bulding date at 1853 and used like "ricettoria finanziale", the place where the taxes for the goodses introduced in the venetian shoreline were paid on behalf of the Austrian empire. Public boats to the old city of Venice and to the islands depart regularly from the station just outside the hotel. Antica Dogana is only 10 minutes far from Burano and 45 from Venice St. Mark’s Square.
