How to Reach Burano
Arriving by plane: International Airport Marco Polo
The international airport Marco Polo is connected to Venice and Murano (the island of glass) by pubblic and private transportation (water taxi).
Public transportations
Alilaguna is the direct passenger waterbus service between Murano, Venice and its airport.
Ticket Eu. 10 ca. but you can also buy it directly on board with a little supplement.
Arrived to Murano, proceed to the "Murano Faro" ACTV stop and take the line LN boat which bring to Burano.
Arriving by train: Railway Station Venezia S. Lucia
The Railway Station Venezia S. Lucia is situated in Cannaregio, near Piazzale Roma.
Public transportations
ACTV's Lines (Venetian public transport company), every 10 - 12 minuts:1, 51, 52, 82, N. Get off at Lido S.M.Elisabetta.
Ticket Eu. 3.10 ca. at the ticket counters or directly on the boats, paying a little supplement.
Get off at Lido P. le S. Maria Elisabetta and than ask for a private taxi car to our hotel.
The boarding is in front of the Railway Station every 10 minutes.
ACTV's lines (Venetian public transport company) that bring to "Fondamente Nove":
- Lines 1 e N (Nocturne): get off at Ca' D'oro stop and proceed to Fondamente Nove (5 minutes) at the boarding for the LN line.
- Lines 42 e 52: get off at Fondamente Nove stop and go to the LN boarding beyond DonĂ Bridge.
- Line 42: get off at Fondamente Nove stop and go to the LN boarding beyond DonĂ Bridge.
- Line DM (Murano Direct): get off at "Murano Faro" stop and take the waterbus to Burano at the LN Boarding.
From Railway Station to Fondamente Nove or Murano you will take 25 minutes; from here to Burano others 45 minutes.
Arriving by Car: Treporti or Punta Sabbioni
Simply take the boarding to Burano, Torcello, Murano and Fondamente Nove.
