This wooden bridge, in fact, connects three canals and three of the most colorful streets of Burano (Giudecca Via, Via San Mauro and Via San Martino Sinistro), full of craft shops, small restaurants and many brightly coloured houses.
For those who love fishing and the ancient crafts, we suggest to visit the old fish market (Pescaria Vecia), located in Via Giudecca, and the ex outdoor fish market in Via San Martino Sinistro, in "Campo della Pescheria".
The Pescarìa Vecia, as is called by the Burano's local people, is perhaps the most loved place by photographers and by romantic couples looking for stunning sunsets over the lagoon of Venice.
Another place you must see in Burano is the Bepi's House, the most colorful home in Burano island and, of course, take some photos of it.
As well as the house of Remigio Barbaro, the famous sculptor of the island, located in Via Terranova, where you can savor a Burano of other times, far from the usual tourist routes.
Naturally you can't leave the island withour tasting and buying the "Bussolà", the typical Burano's round cookie, the "Esse" of Burano and other local handicrafts.
Also eating the risotto de gò is a must, which is the typical Burano's risotto. Even if also all the other dishes based on fish that you can eat in one of the many restaurants of Burano are not so bad :)
