Estro Vino e Cucina in Venice offers Cicchetti and typical Venetian cuisine with a slight oriental reinterpretation of its Japanese chef.
Estro - Vino e Cucina in Venice Italy
Estro - Vino E Cucina's location on the map of Venice:
The Spezzamonte brothers, after having earned an excellent reputation in Venice with their previous management at the "Osteria alla Staffa", in the Castello district, on the 18th June 2014 they decided to start a new adventure.
"Estro - Vino e Cucina" is the name of their new creation, which keeps the same staff: Dario Spezzamonte, Alberto Spezzamonte and Masahiro Homma, the Japanese chef who has been living in Venice for several years.
This small restaurant is a great point of reference for a drink, lunch or dinner.
It creates Cicchetti and typical Venetian cuisine, with a slight oriental reinterpretation by the chef, seeking a cunnubio between the flavors of two cultures which are greatest admirers of the fish.
That fish which every day the holder Alberto goes into choosing fresh at the Rialto's market, preferring those fish species coming from the Venice Lagoon and the Adriatic Sea and which the chef will expertly match with organic products, such as cheese from the Veneto pastures and vegetables purchased directly from the growers of Sant Erasmo.
The suggested wines are almost always the Veneto and Friuli, as it's preferred the short chain.
Because "Estro - Vino e Cucina" has limited seating the reservation is suggested, at least a day before.
