Our local fish comes from the outer Lagoon and its deep channel entrances, and from the immediately surrounding waters of the northern Adriatic.

Our vegetables are cultivated on the islands of the Lagoon: Sant'Erasmo, Vignole, Murano, Torcello, Burano, Malamocco and Cavallino.

The local game is wild water fowl which migrates to the valleys of the Lagoon.
